INTERJURISDICTIONAL ADOPTIONSThe <strong>State</strong>/Tribal will not:1. deny or delay the placement of a child <strong>for</strong> adoption when an approved family isavailable outside of the jurisdiction with responsibility <strong>for</strong> h<strong>and</strong>ling the case of thechild; or2. fail to grant an opportunity <strong>for</strong> a fair hearing, as described in section 471(a)(12), toan individual whose allegation of a violation of part (1) of this subsection is deniedby the <strong>State</strong>/Tribal or not acted upon by the <strong>State</strong>/Tribal with reasonable promptness.L. QUALITY STANDARDS1. The <strong>State</strong>/Tribal has developed <strong>and</strong> implemented st<strong>and</strong>ards to ensure that children infoster care placements in public or private agencies are provided quality services thatprotect the safety <strong>and</strong> health of the children.2.
