Also, payment/deposits if anyto be paid to other departments shall beborne by the Client, please confirm.Since this tender is funded by IBRD (Worldbank), and called for on “InternationalCompetitive Bidding” basis, we presumethat excise duty exemption is available forcement, steel, pipes, specials, valves,house service connection material, etc.,YesRate in corresponding BoQs shall beinclusive of centering andshuttering. Corrigendum will beissued.The quantity for item no. 1101 is100 Rmt. Corrigendum will beissued.Soft copy of the Auto CAD drawings canbe collected from the Employer or fromAPMDP Office.Please refer Division -2 (Section VII)The shifting charges for utilities will beborne by the Employer. Kindly confirm the source ofindex for Steel, Cement, Pig Iron & HDPE,whether they shall be considered as ‘allcommodities’ or steel rods for steel, greycement for cement, pig iron for pig iron &synthetic resin for HDPE.Since price adjustment clauses are notsignificantly mentioned for house serviceconnections and they are havingconsiderable value in the Tender, wepresume that they shall be claimed in costelement “others” and concern indicesShall be “Wholesale Price Index (WPI) forall commodities”, please confirm.The source of index is given in Tableseparately to steel, cement and pigiron and the same will be applicable.There is no HDPE item in the BoQand hence no index is provided.YesSd/-CommissionerAnanthapur Municipal Corporation
