Inthis edition of iNsideyou will find all youneed to know aboutwhat is happeningacross ContourHomes and themany activitiestaking place.This October willbe your chance toshine at the 2012 ImPaCt Awards.Last year’s ceremony was afantastic glittering gala, thatcelebrated the positive differencesour tenants and residents havemade to their communities. If youwould like to nominate a neighbour,please complete the enclosed form –further details are also available on page 28.The Customer Service Directorate is focusedon improving our service to you, and we arecurrently making improvements to ourtelephone system. On average we receive inthe region of 2400 calls a week from peoplelooking to report a repair, through to rentaccount enquires and a huge number ofcalls from people wanting somewhere tolive, and the new changes to the way weanswer the phone will improve contact withus – full details are available on page 10.The Resident Inspectors give their timefeely to review our services and makerecommendations so that we can do thingsbetter. Their first report focused on SchemeInspections and provided us withrecommendations on what works well andwhere we can improve. In terms of quality,the report and the information provided bythe Resident Inspectors beats someexpensive consultants reports I have read.A huge thanks to the Resident Inspectorswho are determined to help us continuouslyimprove. The Inspectors report is nowavailable on our website, please visit –www.contourhomes.co.uk. If you too wouldlike to ‘be involved’ in making a difference,page 29 has some great information aboutcourses provided for tenants and residents.So far the weather this year has been verychangeable.
