Where is your money going?All funds raised in the Annual Giving Campaign are deposited into the Education Fund.This account is spent directly on current and future <strong>John</strong> <strong>Carroll</strong> students, schoolfacilities and improvements, and educational equipment and training.Funds from the <strong>2006</strong>-2007 Annual Giving Campaign helped to:* Purchase 28 new Dell Optiplex computers, each with a17” flat panel LCD monitor for every classroom* Renovate the band room and band director’s office* Purchase an iMAC computer for a new course“World and Electronic Music” in which studentsexplore modes of electronic music production, learnpod casting, produce audio programs, andmanipulate computer-generated music.* Acquire two Mobile Modular classrooms so all full timeteachers have their own room.* Complete the state of the art rubberized track.The blue track will allow JC to host regulation meets,ensure that the students have a safe running surface,and attract community events such as the Susan G.Komen Relay For Life to take place on campus.* Purchase Thor Guard, a lightining sensing and trackingdevice to keep students, parents, and fans safeduring stormy weather.* Upgrade the cafeteria equipment with a new oven and range.The school is able to offer a new variety of healthy mealsfor the students at lunchtime.<strong>2006</strong>-2007 SGA officers“<strong>John</strong> <strong>Carroll</strong> students havecontributed much of their timeand talents to help thecommunity through variousservice projects.
