Live Roots membership comprises Brewery <strong>Arts</strong><br />

Band on the Wall – Manchester. It tours reggae,<br />
African and Lat<strong>in</strong> <strong>music</strong> on the small to middle<br />
scale. It is an important development structure for<br />
emerg<strong>in</strong>g artists as well as more established names.<br />

MBM is a consortium of mid-sized (2,000 capacity)<br />
venues, which is funded as a circuit by <strong>Arts</strong> <strong>Council</strong><br />
<strong>England</strong>. It offers ready-made tours by jazz, world<br />
and roots artists, with <strong>four</strong> tours a year. The<br />
consortium <strong>in</strong>cludes St David's Hall (Cardiff), Corn<br />
Exchange (Brighton), Usher Hall (Ed<strong>in</strong>burgh), The<br />
Anvil (Bas<strong>in</strong>gstoke), The Arches (Glasgow),<br />
Bridgewater Hall (Manchester), Colston Hall<br />
(Bristol), and The Sage Gateshead.<br />
