Together, they will form a package withthe potential to solve societal problems in the coastal zonesof Europe and developing countries alike. All data and toolswill be available online.INCOFISH will focus its research activities on the followingIntegrated Coastal Zone Management (ICZM) issues: in dealing with the ‘shifting baselines’ syndromeand provide sound reference points for resourcerestoration; establish authoritative species inventories and explorescenarios of global change and invasive species; zones as a basis for understanding resources; placement of marine protected areas; and provide best-practice guidelines; monitor sustainable fisheries; products and services and different managementregimes; coastal zones; understanding multiple demands on coastal zones; to all data and tools relevant for ICZM.Natural Resources
