During ourtrips, you learn the historyof the Ramapo Mountainswhile visiting historiciron mines, cave shelters,century old buildings, aRevolutionary Warentrenchment. Thescenery affords someof the best mountaintop views and waterfalls found in thelocal forests. More than just a walk downthe path, our hikes will take us overmountains, through valleys, and acrossstreams. Hikers should be in reasonablecondition for a moderate and steadypace of 3 to 5 hours. In order to receivepertinent orientation materials, allregistrations must include a currentemail address. Consult your physicianbefore attempting a physically challengingactivity like hiking. Hikes are led byexperienced hiker in the Adirondack andRamapo Mountains who climbed MachuPichu in Peru.
