Serving children from all communities,the program provides an environment where children, through active learning principles, willcontinue to grow socially, emotionally, intellectually and physically.We hope that children in our program will gain greater confidence and have a good start indeveloping positive attitudes toward school, teachers and their classmates, while they developskills intended to prepare them for their future school environment.All of our teachers are certified in Elementary or Early Childhood Education and are assisted inthe classroom by at least one experienced aide. The programs are located in our own preschoolclassrooms at Coleman School and Central School in Glen Rock.The school offers classes for 2 ½-, 3- and 4-year-old children during both Falland Winter/Spring Semesters. In addition, we offer Mom and Tot classes for the18- to 30-month old accompanied by a parent/caregiver.Interested families are encouraged to observe a class. Arrangements can be madeby calling the community school office at 201-389-5011.
