He worked forthe Missouri <strong>State</strong> <strong>Highway</strong> <strong>Patrol</strong> as adriver examiner in Troop C, St. Louis,from June 30, 1973, until he retired onDecember 31, 2002.Robin is survived by parents, Donaldand Marcia (Rowland) Jones, andone brother, Richard Jones (and hiswife, Alicia).Services took place on November1, 2011, at C.Z. Boyer and Son Chapel,in Desloge, MO, with Chaplain SteveStillman officiating. Jaegers, 82, of Linn, MO,died on Monday, November 21, 2011,at Autumn Meadows Skilled NursingFacility.Ed was born January 3, 1929, inBonnots Mill, MO, a son to the late Peteand Bertha (Hubert) Jaegers.Ed was a lifelong area resident andserved in the U.S. Army during the Koreanconflict.Ed worked for the Missouri <strong>State</strong><strong>Highway</strong> <strong>Patrol</strong> from 1973, until heretired as a maintenance supervisor in1994. Ed was a member of St. GeorgeCatholic Church and enjoyed workingon cars.Ed is survived by: two sons, TerryJaegers (and his wife, Mathilda), ofRussellville, and Jack Jaegers, of Linn;one brother, Ray (and his wife, Leona),of Linn; one sister, Delma Perrot, ofArkansas; six grandchildren; 16 greatgrandchildren;as well as many nieces,nephews, and friends.In addition to his parents, Ed waspreceded in death by his stepmother,Regina Jaegers, four sisters, and twobrothers.In keeping with Ed’s wishes, privateservices were held.The <strong>Patrol</strong> family extends its sincerestcondolences to the Jaegers family.(Reprinted with permission from the Jaeger family.)Clifford A. Sassenrath Jr., 85, ofSt. Peters, MO, died on Saturday, December3, 2011. He was the loving husbandof the late Celeste T. Sassenrath(née Gruenloh), and the beloved sonof the late Clifford A. and Dorothy Sassenrath.Clifford was a devoted fatherof Marie, Dorothy, Sharon, Timothy,Clifford III, and Sylvia.A veteran of World War II, Korea,and Vietnam, Clifford retired fromthe U.S. Air Force after 24 years ofservice. He then worked for the Missouri<strong>Highway</strong> <strong>State</strong> <strong>Patrol</strong> for 15 yearsas a commercial vehicle enforcementinspector. Assigned to Troop C, heworked in Weldon Springs and St. Peters,as well as from a portable scalevan.Clifford was a member of Assumptionof the B.V.M. Catholic Church, inO’Fallon, MO; the Knights of ColumbusCouncil #2341, in Warrenton, MO;and was a lifetime member of VFWPost #2866, in St. Charles, MO.Clifford is survived by his children:Marie Johns (and her husband,Jerry), Dorothy Zigler (and her husband,Terry), Sharon Sassenrath, TimothySassenrath (and his wife, Linda),Clifford Sassenrath III, and SylviaAubuchon; 15 grandchildren; 14 greatgrandchildren;a brother, KennethSassenrath (and his wife, Marion); anda sister-in-law, Sylvia Gittemeier.
