A pathwayfor non registered nursingto registered nursing withappropriate training pathways andfunding streams would supportlong term gaps.Career Pathway of supportingunqualified clinical staff intoAssistant Practitioner rolesand then re-engaging with thesecondment programme. This willsupport the Trust in successionplanning and we are working withHealth Education North West onthis.Recognition that eye problemsaffect a huge proportion of thepopulation, and that the currentundergraduate curriculum doesnot reflect this.
