Brief Description of Assignment NBR wants to upgrade existing developed MISTsoftware to automate the administrative activities inthe 649 circles (not the quasi-judicial works),Supervising Offices, Zonal Head Quarters, Directorates,and NBR of the country with connectivity with otherorganization like Customs, VAT, Sub-registry Offices,BRTA, Immigration & Passport, Bank and FinancialInstitutes etc. The system must be able to maintainthe required Taxpayers’ data and operate the data forthe smooth day-to-day functioning of NBR and its fieldoffices under Income Tax Wing in web environmenthosted, deployed and maintained in central servers.The existing data of MIST should be migrated to thenew system for proper use in new system.The existing MIST software has automated theTaxpayers’ information, return processing &assessment by the tax officials, appeal filed againstassessment or penalty, penalty imposition, daily taxcollection details, rectification against assessment orpenalty, case reopening as & when applicable, auditreports of cases, tracking revenue & internal audit,tracking of hearing information, issues notice details,yearly budgeting plan & comparison achievement bydifferent administrative zones, all relevant registerdetails, transfer of taxpayers profile amonglocations/circle database, monitoring of collectionmeasures, internal information exchange, recording ofat source tax collection, generation of reports &statistics, staff information, forward diary, taxpayerssummarized profile, pre-assessment assisting reports,statistical & administrative reports on TIN-returnsassessment-demand-collections etc and miscellaneousreports as required on demand by users & authorities.The up graded MIST software will be an integratedweb based solution hosted, deployed and maintained

13. Experience, Resources and DeliveryCapacity requiredin central servers. Any user fromNBR/Zone/Range/Circle can login the software andaccess the features depending on the privileges. Thesystem will be hosted in server located in Dhaka.The existing MIST Software is developed withASP.NET, C# with database MS SQL Server whichneeds to be migrated to Oracle Database.1. Minimum 5 years of experience of Softwaredevelopment, deployment, maintenance services.2. Specific experience of software development forcustomized Business Application System.3. Supply of minimum three software in last 5 yearsthat have similar requirements. And one softwareproject with Government or Public Sector.4. Availability of appropriate professionals to developCustomized Business Application and resources tocarry out the assignment.5. Experience of developing web based solutions.14.
