From its humble beginnings in 1875 – the first tennis match here was
watched by only 200 people – Wimbledon has gone on to become a
globally-renowned sports event, drawing tens of thousands of spectators
each year. This premier-class tournament is watched by every echelon
of British society, including Her Majesty the Queen. Not even the rain can
stop it now – the retractable roof over Centre Court means fans can watch
the likes of Nadal, Federer, Murray and the Williams sisters in comfort and
style, whatever the weather. To make the most of this experience, contact
Johnny Perkins, who can advise you on how to organize a VIP visit.
Few occasions match the intensity, glamour and drama of the British Grand
Prix. In addition to the thrilling on-track racing, spectators are treated to a
host of entertainment including air displays, entertainment zones, the F1
trade mall and the ever popular post-race party. Silverstone offers many
hospitality packages to suit the elite guest, featuring gourmet cuisine, fine
champagnes and, of course, amazing views. From rubbing shoulders with
motorsport legends in the Drivers’ Lounge, to entertaining guests in a private
suite, every visitor can be assured of an experience they’ll never forget.
Held annually in the grounds of the Royal Hospital in Chelsea, the Chelsea
Flower Show is a riot of color, scent and spectacular aesthetics. A showcase
of individually-planted and tended gardens by horticulturalists both amateur
and professional, this super-civilized event draws big names as well as
garden enthusiasts. Among those seen wandering the walkways between the
beautifully-crafted garden plots are cookery writer Nigella Lawson, actress
Helen Mirren, Beatle Ringo Starr and designer Vivienne Westwood.
Founded in 1895, the Proms is a series of classical music concerts running
through the summer months at various magnificent locations in London:
the Royal Albert Hall, the Royal Academy of Music, and Cadogan Hall in
Chelsea. Most famous of all these concerts is ‘The Last Night of the Proms’,
a quintessentially English occasion where guests can hear traditional
patriotic songs and music played and sung by world-renowned artists, all
to the superb backdrop of the Royal Albert Hall. For special arrangements,
contact Kirsty Mallinson.
