When I think of the Badin family, I envisiona large oak tree in fertile ground. The Badin root system is plentiful, strongand well fertilized. The trunk is sturdyand ever growing. The limbs and leavesare abundant and bountiful. Throughsunshine, storms, droughts, snow & ice,the oak tree continues to grow and bendto adapt to its ever changing environment. The root system continues to flourishand the above ground portion growsnew leaves and sheds them every year, further fertilizing the ground it stands in.Annual Fund Ask –A message from Advancementby Angie Pieper Gray ‘83Director of Development and MarketingAccording to the Colorado State University web page on ‘Healthy Rootsand Healthy Trees’: “…The root system of a tree performs many vitalfunctions. In winter, it is a store-house for essential food reserves neededby the tree to produce spring foliage. Roots absorb and transport waterand minerals from the soil to the rest of the tree. Roots also anchor theportion of the tree above ground. It is important to keep the portionabove ground healthy to ensure an adequate food supply for the roots tocontinue their important functions…”As I read the information for healthy trees and roots, I am reminded howimportant both the root system and the above ground portion are andhow they must work together to provide an overall healthy tree; and thatproves true for the Badin family. The root system represents our alumnifrom Badin, Hamilton Catholic, and Notre Dame High Schools; the aboveportion of the tree our current school family.Annual Fund Gift LevelsRam’s Rally Leadership CouncilStephen T. Badin Circle Gifts of $10,000 or moreThe following giving levels will fluctuate based on annual tuition:Pride Circle $ 7,900 (One full tuition grant/academic scholarship)Tradition Circle $ 5,925 (75% tuition grant/academic scholarship)Unity Circle $ 3,950 (50% tuition grant/academic scholarship)Spirit Circle $ 1,975 (25% tuition grant/academic scholarship)_____Champions Club $500 or moreGreen & White Club $250 +Century Club $100 +New London Club $up to $99In addition to the Rams Rally Leadership Council will bethe new Rams Rally Corporate Partners who will havetheir corporate logos listed on the inside back cover ofthe Shades of Green Newsletter, published three times peryear, and in our monthly parent e-newsletter.Rams Rally Corporate Supporter levels - $250, $500, $750,$1000, $2000, $5000) Contact Angie Gray for more information -agray@badinhs.org.All Annual Fund donors receive a personal acknowledgement andare recognized in the Annual Report by gift level and constituency. The entire tree needs ongoing nurturing to remainvibrant and healthy and I am asking your help.Build a Brighter Badin ~ Please consider a gift today.ANNUAL FUNDOur tree is producing bountiful students who are service-minded and wellprepared for college and the world beyond our walls.
