Neuvirthscored 20 of her game-high 24 points in the secondhalf to help the Jays overcome a halftime deficit. Thewin moved CU’s streak to nine, it’s longest streaksince 2001-02. After scoring 15 seconds into thegame, the Jays did not make another field goal fornearly eight minutes, as the Shockers led 9-2. TheBluejays led 14-11 with 7:43 left in the opening half,but would not make another field goal before halftimein falling behind 20-15. CU scored the first five pointsafter the half and used an 11-0 run midway throughthe half to claim control of the contest. Up 44-34 with6:23 to go, the Jays did not make a field goal for theremainder of the game and didn’t score until makingfive free-throws in the final 43 seconds.
