Kelsey Woodard scored 17 of her teamhigh19 points in the first half. The Jays raced out toa nine-point lead in the opening minutes of the game.They maintained a lead until the final 25 seconds ofthe half, when a lay-up helped the Braves end the halfon an 8-0 run and lead 34-33 at the half. The Jayswent nearly six minutes without a field goal early in thesecond half, as BU went ahead 47-38. The Bravesrattled off a 16-2 run, which included 12 unansweredpoints, to push to their largest lead of the game, up 19at 63-44. The Jays used a 13-3 run to cut BU’s leadback to single digits, trailing 66-57 with 3:52 to play. Aquick 7-2 burst made the score 69-64 in favor of theBraves with 93 seconds left in the game, but the Jayscould get no closer. All five Bradley starters scored indouble figures, while BU’s 13 blocked shots were themost by a CU opponent since December 2005.
