Bus Stop Refreshments, Saskatoon. JFM 90 is still at Spadina Crescent in Saskatoon; this bus is now in its 21st year at this
location dispensing coffee, etc. to passersby and regulars alike (6/09). The other bus in possession, KLB 689, is still in
the storage compound in Clavet; it is complete although the roof is starting to sag after a few years of outside storage and
the weight of winter snow (6/09). Late news and KLB 689 may have been acquired by a local person for preservation.
Dbl Decker Tours, Regina. 506 OHU is kept at Southern Coring and Cutting Service, 526 Lorne Street, Regina; whilst the
front is red, much of the rest has a wild psychedelic paint scheme. No address or telephone number has been found for
the company, but there is a web page at www.dbldeckertours.com (6/09).
Mr. Spuds Snack Shack, Lumsden. During the winter of 2008/9, 266 SFM was badly vandalised at its location near
Lumsden where it acted as an eye-catcher for the snack shack there. As a result, the bus has been removed to a secure
storage area in Regina. It is unlikely that the bus will return to Lumsden and instead it may be converted to an Ice Cream
Shop for use in Regina (6/09).
Regina Transit, Regina. Continues to operate its sole Thomas Dennis Dart though normally restricted to ‘light duties’. It has
been slightly modified with North American-style bumpers, a bike rack at the front, and painted in the latest Regina Transit
livery. The builder's plate carries two dates! The body was manufactured by Alexander in 1/00 and also by Thomas
Dennis in 4/00. It was one of 50 bodies built ready for the start up of Thomas Dennis and carries their badge on the front.
