<strong>Toys</strong> R <strong>Us</strong> Head Office <strong>Job</strong> <strong>Description</strong><strong>Job</strong> Title: Temporary Payroll Assistant Reporting To: Payroll SupervisorDepartment: PayrollLocation: Head Office<strong>Job</strong> Purpose: To undertake the weekly payroll for a specific number of store and warehouse staff usingpayroll system. You will also be responsible for completing various enquiry forms for weekly staff as well asassisting with tax year end.The Company: <strong>Toys</strong> 'R' <strong>Us</strong> is the UK's most successful Family Leisure, Babycare, Multimedia and Toyretailer. <strong>Toys</strong> R <strong>Us</strong> was founded in the UK in 1985 with the opening of 5 stores and since then we have grownthroughout the UK. Our increasing range of product introductions in Babies R <strong>Us</strong>, Teentronics, Multimediaand Universe of Imagination add further dimensions to our unique customer proposition.Main Responsibilities:• Ensure accurate and timely payment of weekly payroll for warehouse and stores using CMG Payroll 2000payroll system• Complete enquiry forms from Her Majesty’s Revenue & Customs, Benefits Agency and other organisations• Assist with reconciliation of tax year-end for payrolls and completion of returns to Her Majesty’s Revenue& Customs. Ensuring that all information is accurate and timely• Assist with completion of accounting month end reconciliations• Assist with auditing payroll/employee database on a regular basis to maintain accuracy. Highlighting anyanomalies to the Assistant Payroll Manager where applicable and resolving them as appropriate• Assist in completing all Sarbanes Oxley related tasks• Assist stores/warehouse with Time and Attendance system and other payroll related queries• Assist with covering the department in the absence of the other Payroll Assistant and Assistant PayrollSupervisor• Any other payroll/information related tasks as required• Complete any reasonable adhoc task as required.Skill Essential Desirable1. Good attention to detail.2. Strong communication skills.3. Ability to self motivate.4. Effective time management and prioritisation skills.5. Good telephone manner.6. An ability to work with figures7. Previous experience of working with CMG 2000 payrollsystem


8. Good customer service.9. Strong administrative skills and good working knowledge ofMS Office, particularly excel.10. Previous experience of working in a busy payrollenvironment.
