The National Memorial Arboretum is set in 150 acres of beautiful wooded parkland and gardens. Sited
in the heart of the Nation, with 50,000 maturing trees and 160 memorials, it is a beautiful and lasting
tribute to those who serve their country or who have died in confl ict. Our visit will include a welcome talk,
a land train tour and to round off the visit, a traditional afternoon tea.
Then, covering 26 acres of former industrial land, Black Country Living Museum is uniquely placed for
our tour guide to tell the story of the creation of the world’s fi rst industrial landscape. Over 50 authentic
shops, houses and workshops have been carefully reconstructed to preserve the character of the region.
