We take you to the magnifi cent Krimml Falls which thunder down over 1000 feet in three mighty stages at the foot of the Gerlos Pass. We then continue through the Thurn Pass to the internationally renowned resort of Kitzbuhel with time to explore this stylish alpine town and perhaps take a cable car ride. We also travel to Lake Achensee, the largest alpine lake in the Tyrol. On the return journey we visit Rattenburg, the smallest city in Austria and the oldest town in the Tyrol. SPECTACULAR LAKE GARDA & VENICE Lake Garda is one of the most stunning locations in Europe! The lake covers three regions and has a circumference of almost 160km encompassing colourful and diverse lakeside towns, each offering a new experience to visitors. Away from the lake, the area offers a handful of historic cities, towering mountains and Renaissance treasures to explore. The hospitality is legendary and the food and wine are a treat for all. Our base is in the lakeside resort of Bardolino, well known for its excellent red wines. It is a pleasure to stroll around, offering plenty of outdoor living and shopping for visitors, with beautiful lake views. Walks along the lakeside promenade are especially popular. We will take a full-day tour around the lake, enjoying the alpine scenery in the north and the Mediterranean atmosphere in the south, and visit some of the lovely lakeside resorts. Another highlight will be a memorable day trip to Venice. More than a city, Venice is a living museum with a rich history evident in every square. Explore the intricate labyrinth of canals and bridges, elegant piazzas and abundance of beautiful churches. The two focal points of the city are the Rialto Bridge and St Mark’s Square. Here the imposing Doge’s Palace, the exotic St Mark’s Basilica and the Campanile Bell Tower never fail to impress.
