The DigitalDuo Charge automatically tops off your starting battery whenever your house battery is beingcharged – even if batteries are different technologies. It’s almost like having a second alternator!DIGITAL DUO CHARGE - DDC-12/24The DDC-12/24 delivers current and voltagecontrolled charging from the house battery tothe starting battery, eliminating the need for anisolator or battery switches.During charging, the Duo Charge monitors thehouse battery. When voltage exceeds the setminimum (typically 13 volts in a 12-volt system),the Duo Charge automatically engages, providingup to 30 amps to the starting battery. When nocharge source is present, the Duo Charge separatesthe batteries, so the starting battery won’t sufferfrom unintentional discharge.Optional solenoid control enables highercharging output when required (solenoid is notincluded).
