Barbara Scheidcommented, “The GHS Drama team once again had a successful competition season intheir performance.”It isn’t as simple as just performing. The actors and actress have to memorize all theirlines, and anywhere they have to be on stage. The backstage crew has to learn how to useall the lights and sounds, create the set, make costumes, do make and placed everything onstage correctly for the performs. Along with that they only have 30 minutes to perform thewhole show, and 5 minutes before and after to set and clean thestage. The drama team has had fun with it though. Jena Aistrop said,“Drama is a way to express my creativity.” Cierra Riggsremarked, “We worked well together, we had some rough days butpulled together when it mattered most.” The Drama team did wellthis year. There will be a spring play, but the play has not beendecided on yet. Look for flyers and announcements for auditionsafter the holiday break.
