CONTEMPORARY BOOK CLUB - T02Tuesday ~ SHS/C224Have you ever wanted to join a serious book club, but didn’t know where to start? This contemporarybook club is for readers who enjoy reading new and engaging books in a social atmosphere.This club will cover a wide-array of modern titles, literary works of well-known authors, and recentlyreleased works by new talented writers. Based upon <strong>the</strong> readings, students will submit short writingassignments which reveal <strong>the</strong>ir thoughts on important ideas and events from each book covered.Students will also keep a reading journal, where <strong>the</strong>y will document <strong>the</strong>ir ideas, impressions,opinions, and reflections.
