distribution to see exactly what type of peopleare interested in this type of music,” says Lindsay,“ I mean I’ve had little kids contact me onmy website, and say I love this and I’m likewow! And younger teenage girls who are intojazz, who want to get into jazz, they’re like this isgreat. They say wow! I really admire what you’redoing, you would think that jazz is a very specificmarket, but somehow it trickles out to alldifferent ages which is good because peopleare starting to catch on to different styles ofmusic and not just going for what’s on the radio.”Lindsay’s EP November Moon starts off withthe song “Burden Of Doubt,” she discusseswhat this track symbolizes. “That song is basicallyabout a relationship, that’s more my funkoriented song, its a little bit set apart from therest of the album. It kind of sets a different pace. That song lyrically is about a relationship, basicallyit’s about being at 20 (years of age) kindof deciding your companion or if you’re decidingif you’re going to get married or not, andbasically having doubts about it. For me, thatwas the best vibe, and where just sometimestaking time away makes things clearer.” Lindsaychooses to bare her soul for the better ofher compositions. “When I’m sitting down towrite my music, I really believe in writing personal,”says Lindsay, “rather than sitting downtrying to write a hit or a pop song. I definitelylook at this as my journal, my opportunity tokind of say what I have to say and deliver mymessage with my lyrics.”With the subject of sex, a lot of artists today justtry to make it as sleazy as possible. They forgetthat it’s really about love, and there is an art tomaking love. It seems like the subject of loveisn’t sacred anymore. Lindsay discusses thetrack “The Art Of Making Love.” “If I didn’t putthat song out, then I would be holding backwho I am. It’s kind of like when you’re an artistand you’re a writer, you kind of say this is me,this is who I am, and you’re either going to likeme or not. And that’s where it’s a test for confidence, you definitely have a test of confidence.I think that if you follow what you believe thenyou can’t go wrong with your music and yourstyle, things like that.” It’s a very romantic song, there’s a certain indescribable vibe. Lindsayelaborates on the music, “It’s a bossanova, and it has the sax. I wanted the song to beromantic. Actually I wanted the whole album tohave this romantic feel to it, and especially withthe style of music.”We’ve all been through very unbelievable situations,it’s healthy when you can write about itwithout feeling intimidating to share it with others. But when you can share your art with otherpeople that shows real strength of character. As a musician, and as an artist youhave to get personal sometimes inorder to write at your best, otherwiseyou’re holding back and there’s justsomething missing. The title track toLindsay’s EP November Moon waswritten during a rain shower in rushhour traffic on Interstate 95, literally onher steering wheel. “I can rememberthinking about this song years agobefore I even wrote it,” Lindsay asserts,“so it’s specifically a song that tookme back to a certain time, and thatsong is about being with your friendsfor the last time and exploring the city.November Moon is just people whogo through the same experiences weall go through, but the moon is alwaysthere, the moon kind of sees everything.”Lindsay Wynn has played all overSouth Florida, small coffee shops, bars and to over a thousand people inattendance at Sunfest. Lindsay discussesthe difference and how shefeeds off the energy of a large crowd.“You know I just feel like as long assomebody’s listening, you know thatthis makes the show more worth while, some people are like I can’t play to aroom of nobody, but even if there’s oneperson in there I’m like wow this isgreat I can play I can pull it out of me.As far as playing, it’s a lot easier toplay to a big crowd, because you havethe crowd and tons of people are payingattention. With Sunfest, for me thatwas probably the first time I played infront of thousands of people, so youknow I got up there and it was just likeI did not want to leave the stage. Whenit was over I was like does it have to beover? And I thought wow I could dothis every night, every night like this.So I got a taste of that, so now I can’twait until I can do it again. It was agreat experience.”Lindsay’s voice surely stands out, andit has a lot to do with her form of expression.“I pretty much just sang alot, I’ve always been singing, and Iguess you get stronger, you just listento the radio and sing a long soyou can sing all different kinds ofstyles through that. For me, it was justabout developing my own style, aftera while there were certain artists Isang like and then you realize I can’tsing like this person, vocally you learnthe dynamics of your range and everything. After you sing a long time you
