Le District ou la Ville de Kigali a la
responsabilité de faire l’entretien de routine de la
partie de route nationale qui les traverse et ses
périphéries.
The District or the City of Kigali has the
responsibilities as regards to the routine
maintenance of the part of the national road
passing over it and its surroundings.
Akarere cyangwa Umujyi wa Kigali bafite

L’Etat peut concéder aux entités privées, la
construction et l'exploitation d'une quelconque
route ainsi que la construction et l'exploitation de
ses installations.
The Government may concede construction or
exploitation of a certain road and even
construction and exploitation of its auxiliaries to
private entities.
Leta ishobora kwegurira ibigo by’abikorera
iyubakwa n’ikoreshwa ry’umuhanda runaka,
kimwe n’ibikorwa remezo biwuriho.
Un arrêté Ministériel détermine la procédure de
concession de construction ou d’exploitation
d’une route aux entités privées.
A Ministerial Order shall determine the procedure
for the concession of construction or exploitation
of a road to private entities.
Iteka rya Minisitiri rigena uburyo bwo
kwegurira ibigo by’abikorera iyubakwa
cyangwa ikoreshwa ry’umuhanda.
Article 8 : Routes de Districts et la Ville de
Kigali et autres zones urbaines

Ingingo ya 8: Imihanda y’Uturere n’Umujyi
wa Kigali n’ahandi hafatwa nk’Umujyi
Les routes de Districts et de la Ville de Kigali
sont respectivement sous la responsabilité des
Districts et de la Ville de Kigali.
Districts roads shall be under the supervision of
the Districts and City of Kigali roads shall be
under the supervision of the City of Kigali.
Imihanda y’Uturere n’Umujyi wa Kigali
irebererwa n’ utwo Turere n’Umujyi wa Kigali
buri rwego ku birureba.
La gestion et l’entretien des routes de Districts et
de la Ville de Kigali de la première catégorie
sont respectivement sous la responsabilité des
Districts ou de la Ville de Kigali.
The management and maintenance of Districts
and City of Kigali Roads–Class One shall be
under the jurisdiction of the Districts or the City
of Kigali respectively.
Imicungire n’isanwa ry’imihanda y’Uturere
n’Umujyi wa Kigali yo mu rwego rwa mbere
yishingirwa n’Uturere cyangwa Umujyi wa
Kigali buri rwego ku birureba.
Les travaux d’entretien des routes sont financés
par le Fonds d’Entretien Routier.
Les travaux de dévelopement de ces routes sont
financés par l’Etat.
Maintenance works shall be funded by the Road
Maintenance Fund.
Works meant for the development of such roads
shall be funded by the Government.
