John V. Lindsay Wildcat is a ungraded, year-round school targeting those students 16-21 years of age who have
either dropped out of school or are at risk of academic failure. Classes run from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. with students
attending classes for one week and them working in the community on internships the next week. New 9th
and 10th grade students attend classes full-time for the first semester. The average student at Wildcat is older
and has fewer credits compared to those students in a traditional high school.
