VOICE Charter School is a new school in New York City, which we opened in September 2008. Our school is
focused on academic rigor as well as an arts-infused education. Our students are instructed in literacy, math,
music, content areas, and physical education every day. The mission of VOICE Charter School is to create a safe
and healthy learning environment that will nurture, motivate, and challenge all of our children to achieve the
highest level of academic excellence and to develop into mindful, responsible, contributing participants in their
community and the diverse society in which we live in.
