featuresFLEXIBLE COUPLINGSSPEFLEXThe Speflex coupling consist of a rubber elastic element thatis vulcanized to two flanges for easy bolts connection to primemover and driven machinery. It combines high torsional flexibilitywith easy installation, guaranteeing high axial and angular misalignmentswithin minimum reaction forces generation. It also protectthe drivetrain from shock loads coming from the connectedmachinery. The elastic element is made of natural rubber and it’sreinforced with syntetich fibers, which increase the strength of theelement and make it particularly suitable for reversal operations.Furthermore, its design allows for radial replacement withoutmoving the connected machinery. It is particularly suitable forall those applications having difficult alignment characteristics,compromised by vibrations or thermal expansion, high operatinghours, reversal and high static torque. Thanks to the alignmentcapabilities of the elastic element, it is not nececeassry to achieveperfect alignment of the connected shafts thereby reducing alignmenttime and cost.
