The shows are awesome,only 30 min. from the barn and 4 miles from the motel we arestaying. Food absolutely amazing, I give it a 10!”She’s showing IDS at 4 th Level Hannibal at 1 st Level, and Simon(who she’s had in training only 6 weeks) at Training and 1 st level.IDS is scoring in the high 60’s and Hannibal and Simon in themid-high 70’s (taking many first places). Looks like the GoldenState is truly a golden for Sabine.s Lisa Blackmon of BLACKSTAR SPORT HORSES(Valley View, TX) reports that their riders recently returnedfrom High Plains Colorado Horse Park in Parker, CO where theycompeted at Dressage in the Rockies on August 6, 7, & 8. Theyhad good results, with Lisa taking 1 st place on Day 1 and 2 for FEIIntermediare I and I-1 Freestyle, tying for 1 st for Intermediare I onDay 3, and again taking 1 st on day 4, and I-II. Jessica Blackmon,her daughter, rode Cortez at Training level, taking a 1 st , 2 nd , 3 rdand 4 th place at various tests in that level. Emilee Reed rode SaintSimmon to 2 nd place finishes on Day 2 and 3 in the FEI 5 YearOld test. She also rode Nicolai (his 1 st show) to good placings at2 nd and Third level.Following the ISR/Oldenburg Mare & Foal Inspection tobe hosted by Black Star Sport Horses on September 2, their riderswill be traveling to Kentucky to compete at MSEDA – Dressageat the Kentucky Horse Park in Lexington, KY. Jessica Blackmonwas named the Dressage Seat Medal Semi-Final Champion in herage division at the 2003 Regional Championships. By her winningher class, she was automatically qualified to attend the 2004Dressage Seat Medal Finals to be held at MSEDA.
