Whilst we havesignificant stockholdings and expertise atall our locations throughout Australia andNew Zealand, the purpose of our NationalManufacturing and Distribution Centrein Laverton, Melbourne is to developthese solutions through manufacturing,assembly, servicing and design andengineering.SIZEWarehouse 7,000 m 2Manufacturing 5,000 m 2OPERATING HOURS6.00am-11.30pm, Monday-FridaySTOCKHOLDING- Approximately $40 M($60 M throughout Australasia)ITEM THROUGHPUT- Approximately 4,500 per day(6,000 lines throughout Australasia)- Orders released for picking before3.00pm are despatched the same day.- The Supply Chain team strives toachieve 95 % customer service,based on an ‘on time in full, first time’measurement.Our Value AddENGINEERING AND SERVICEThe Engineering and Service teamsprovide a comprehensive range of ‘valueadded’ services that support and enhancethe reliability and performance of NHPproducts.The team manages all facets of productdesign, prototyping and testing inaccordance with relevant Australianand International Standards as well asmaking sure the consistency and qualityof incoming goods is maintained via aregular product inspection process.PROJECT DELIVERYThe Project Delivery team is responsiblefor the design and delivery of specialassemblies from NHP manufacturingcentres, in accordance with the customer’stechnical, commercial and logisticalrequirements as per the negotiatedcontractual obligations.WAREHOUSEOur 60+ member Warehousing Teamoperates out of first class facilities andare responsible for fulfilling in excess of3,500 separate line items per day, anddistributing to our 23 branches in Australiaand New Zealand.MANUFACTURINGThe climate controlled ManufacturingWorkshop is home to 65+ staff, whoseskills range from electrical tradeassistants to highly trained instrumenttechnicians. While this team assemblesstandard NHP products, they alsocustomise assemblies in accordance withcustomer specifications. Manufacturingrequirements are also forecast so thatresources can be re-deployed to suitcustomer demand.HAZARDOUS AREA EQUIPMENT (HAE)CERTIFIED ASSEMBLY WORKSHOPOur HAE Certified Assembly Workshop hasbeen custom-built to provide customerspecific systems to suit Ex electricalequipment requirements, which caninclude specialist lighting, control stations,terminal boxes, full panel design andconstruction and more. In this workshop,accredited staff design, construct andinspect the range according to therequirements of IEC Ex certification,enabling us to provide expeditious andeffective solutions for customers.
