The defendant fled thescene. A vehicle was stopped near the location of the incident and the above individuals were identified in the vehicle. Post Miranda RightsAdvisement, the defendant was identified as a suspect involved in the robbery from other individuals in the vehicle. Video surveillance wasobtained which revealed a male, matching a description of the defendant's physical size. Two firearms were located near the scene of the trafficstop after one individual fled from the vehicle during the traffic stop.Derrick Steele violated F.S.S. 812.13(2a) robbery with a firearm F.S.S. 784.021(1b)aggravated assault with intent to commit a felony andF.S.S. 790.07(2) display firearm during a felony.
