SONOMA COUNTY | WINE COUNTRY THIS WEEKLocal Artists Showcase Their Work at WineriesThis April and May, the Wine Road will be partnering with Art atthe Source for its annual art and wine program. The special “Art at theWineries” event will feature local Sonoma area painters, sculptors,photographers, potters, jewelers, fiber artists and glass artists ondisplay at more than 30 Wine Road members’ tasting rooms. Thispreview is a two-month event leading up to the 16th annual “Art at theSource Open Studios,” a self-guided, open-studio event that is heldthe first two weekends in June. The Sebastopol Center for the Arts, agrassroots, nonprofit arts center created in 1988 by a coalition of art,business, and community members to provide art programs andservices for all sectors of the community, is the sponsor for “Art at theSource Open Studios”.“We are excited to once again be able to showcase beautiful localart with our winery members,” says Beth Costa, executive director ofthe Wine Road. “Visitors are given the opportunity to enjoy SonomaCounty’s visual arts, along with award-winning wines for which thisregion is known.”The Wine Road is an invaluable source for planning a perfectweekend to experience art in the wine country.
