FeeS29INVEST INYOUR FUTUREWITH A QUALITYEDUCATIONMERIT SCHOLARSHIPScholarships are part of Curtin Singapore’s commitment torewarding academic excellence and enabling students from allbackgrounds to realise their potential, graduate with strongpractical skills and achieve their goals.Qualified recipients will be notified by the Admissions officealong with the course offer letter.Local studentsMerit scholarships cover two units of the Certificate IV TertiaryPreparation Program or a bachelor degree at Curtin Singapore.The scholarship is applied to the tuition for the final trimesterof the first enrolled course of study at Curtin Singapore.Students are not required to apply for the scholarship as itis awarded on the basis of academic performance and all ‘O’Level, ‘A’ Level, and polytechnic diploma graduates are eligible.CURTIN SINGAPORE OR NAVITAS FAMILY BURSARYCurtin Singapore and Navitas offer financial support in theform of family bursaries. A bursary applies where two ormore students from the same family study with Curtin or aNavitas member institution. The first family member can bestudying with Curtin Bentley, Sarawak, Singapore, Sydney,or a Navitas member institution at the same time as otherfamily members, or they may have previously studied withany Curtin campus or Navitas member institution. The CurtinSingapore or Navitas Family Bursary is only granted to thesecond and subsequent family members who study withCurtin Singapore. For the purpose of this bursary, a familymember is defined as a husband, wife, brother, sister, mother,father, son, daughter or stepchild.The Curtin Singapore or Navitas Family Bursary is equivalentto 10 percent of the tuition fee for the first attempt at units orcourses in the program of study (for example, a certificate IV,diploma, undergraduate or postgraduate program, excludingthe mixed English option).This amount is credited to theeligible student’s tuition fee account each trimester, with theamount being relevant to the number of units undertaken inthat trimester. The bursary does not apply to additional unitsor repeat units that may also be undertaken.Contact Curtin Singapore for more details about scholarshipsand bursary requirements, and policy.Note: the Navitas Family Bursary is not applicable to Englishlanguage program or any component of any English languageprogram offered by Navitas member institutions.
