Together we strive to promote an environment that focuses on the needs of our patientsand their families; it is through collaboration that we are better able to understand our strengths and opportunities forgrowth. Your voice ensures that we are infusing the patient’s perspective into everything we do.Since the Council’s inception in 1999, our members have been instrumental in guiding our decision-makingpractices, from patient safety efforts to the design of clinical facilities to quality improvement initiatives toeducational materials and beyond. Their presence on committees such as the Pediatric Clinical Operations Group,Quality Improvement/Risk Management, and Clinical Operations have not only been helpful, but critical. We recognize the extensive time commitment of Council membership—monthly meetings and additional committeeand project work—and we truly appreciate your dedication to this important work.Welcome to the Council.
