Last updated: January 2007SECURITY DECLARATIONof the known consignor:under Regulation (EC) No 2320/2002 Annex 6.4. in connection with Regulation (EC) No831/2006Company:Address:Telephone: Fax: Email:We declare- that consignments during preparation, storage and, as applicable, transportation, asfar as transportation is assumed by us, to• air carriers• regulated agents(delete whichever is not applicable)have been/are protected against unauthorized access.- that our staff charged with the preparation of the consignments are reliable and havebeen familiarized with their tasks;- that consignments are prepared in secure premises.- that the consignments do not contain prohibited articles in terms of the Attachment(guidelines for classification of prohibited articles) to Regulation (EC) No 2320/2002numbers iv) and v) acc. to point 6.4.1 (c), as far as they have not been declared inaccordance with ICAO Annex 18 or the ICAO/IATA dangerous goods regulations inforce.- that the packaging and contents of the consignment may be inspected for reasons ofsecurity (e.g. random checks);We undertake- to renew the security declaration in case our company name and/or our addresschanges;- to ensure the accomplishment of security measures in case we employ subcontractors(transportation, packaging, storage);- to grant the competent validation bodies (e.g. aviation security authorities or theregulated agent) access to our premises.- to submit one original of this declaration without further request once every 12months to the Regulated Agent and/or air carrier.- that consignments are always packed in tamper-proof packaging. Tamper-proofpackaging means in particular that the packages are prepared in such a way that nogoods can be removed from or introduced into without leaving visible traces oftampering (e.g. packages shrink wrapped in plastic film), with the only exception ofconsignments for which this kind of packaging is difficult or which can be onlytransported separately and under constant surveillance. This must be agreed with theRegulated Agent so that the transportation route can be planned and set up. Withouta separate written agreement signed by the Regulated Agent the obligation fortamper-proof packaging remains.1 of 2
