i- Shall measure Ambient equivalent dose: H*(10).i- Ambient equivalent dose rate according to the IEC 60846 or equivalentstandards.ii- Measuring range: 10nSv/h – 1Sv/h. The bidder shall include in his offer detailedinformation on the detector sensitivity (cps/µSv/h) and monitor dead time.iii- Energy range: approximately 30keV-10MeV. The bidder shall include in his offerdetailed information on the detector efficiency curve.iv- Calibration is mandatory.b) - All Neutron monitors:i- Shall measure Ambient equivalent dose: H*(10).ii- Ambient equivalent dose (rate) according to the IEC 61005 or equivalentstandards.iii- Measuring range: 10nSv/h – 100mSv/h. a different type of display unit would beaccepted) the bidder shall include in their offer detailed information on thedetector sensitivity (cps/µSv/h) and monitor dead time.iv- Energy range: LOT#1: 0.025eV- approximately several hundreds of MeV. LOT#3: 0.025eV- approximately 15MeV.The bidders shall include in their offer detailed information on the detector efficiencycurve.v- Calibration is mandatory.vi- The bidders shall include in their offer detailed information on the detector Gammasensitivity (the true gamma dose rate is suppressed by the discriminator of the neutrondetector).c) – SESAME is welcoming if the bidder has different ranges for both energy or/anddose rates for all kinds of radiation monitors, kindly put your best monitors rangesand quote based on that.d)- All monitors shall display the data in the following units and their submultiples:i- Sievert (Sv).ii- Sievert/hour (Sv/h).e) - The dose rate measurement range above is coming from the pulsed radiationproduced during the injection stage. In the neutron sensors case, a pulsed dispersion isproduced due to neutron moderation (around 20ps) in such a way that the pulse peakvalue is slightly lower. For both types of sensor, the accuracy for the radiated pulsedmeasurement should be better than 10%. The measurements accuracy with a calibrationsource shall be better than 5%. Offers with lower precision will not be discarded if theirvalues are justified and the equipment offered has other technical advantages.4:3 Technical specifications for the local control and display units (LOT#1-LOT#3)All radiation monitors include in the scope of lot1-lot3 shall include an electronicmeasurement system (one single system for both gamma and neutron monitor in case ofradiation monitor combined stations) complying with the following functionalities:a- For LOT#1i- Register, analysis and transmission of the measured data to the powerful computerworkstation in the control room.ii- Data storage capacity to assure that any data (date, hour, status and measured values)is not lost under any electrical power or computing control fault. (See 4.4a)iii- Calibration mode.8
