BONDTEC ElastoCoatElastomeric Waterproofing Protection&Decorative CoatingPREPARATIONAll surfaces must be clean, dry, and free from dust, oil, grease, wax, rust or bleeding type stains. Remove all looseor peeling paint. Sand glossy areas for best adhesion. Any structural damages, cracks and hollows must berepaired before application using Bondtec SB33 Polymer Repair Mortar ; where necessary fall must be constructedto allow complete rainwater drainage. Grease or oil on the surfaces should be removed with Bondtec Cleaner 88.APPLICATIONBondtec ElastoCoat must be carefully mixed in its container before use. Two layer are essential for permanentresult. The first coat may be diluted with small amounts of cold water (approx. 5- 20%) depending on the type ofsurface and its porosity. Application may be carried out by brush, roller or airless sprayer and always workmaintaining a wet edge. Back rolling is recommended when spraying.Bondtec ElastoCoat is a water-based product therefore surface to be painted must have sufficient falls to allowcomplete drainage of rainwater. Also must be avoided to continous immersion in ponded water, it will seriouslyaffect the surface adhesion. Make sure that the first coat is completely dry before applying the second coat (best isafter 24 hours)REINFORCEMENTBondtec Polyester Fabric can be used with Bondtec ElastoCoat to reinforce the membrane. Reinforcement isrecommended for various application, such as cracked concrete decks, precast panel joint old sheeted and bitumenmembrane. Once the reinforcement is embedded, apply minimum of 500 microns of Bondtec ElastoCoatover these areas.COLOURThis product comes in standard white/grey/green and can be custom tinted to most pastel shades.DRYING TIMESSet Time : 3 hours ; Dry Time : 24 hours depending on temperatures and humidity.COVERAGECoverage are very depend on the type and degree of surface porosity and on the required thickness of thewaterproofing.
