Board Members present were: Richard Nasrallah,James Sewell. Barbara “Beamer” Cronk, Milton Gonzalez, Wayne Coulter, James Cass, PattiNasrallah and Lisa “Lexe” Usher.1. INTRODUCTIONS & PRESIDENTS REPORT: Richard welcomed all guest and visitors.Richard led pledge of allegiance and a moment of silence.2. VICE PRESIDENT’S REPORT: Nothing to Report.3. SECRETARY’S REPORT: Beamer reported that were no changes submitted for the chaptermeeting minutes. Motion made by James Sewell that last month’s minutes will be printed inthe newsletter and therefore do not need to be read to the chapter at this time – Motion Secondedby Milton Gonzalez - Chapter voted & motion carried.4. TREASURER: Bill Nasrallah - excused absence.5. MEMBERSHIP TRUSTEE: LJ Wood excused absence.6. PRODUCTS TRUSTEE: Dar Newland excused absence.7. SERGEANT AT ARMS: Wayno Coulter reported that he had his shoulder surgery andwould not be riding for a few months. He also said there was nothing going on at the securitylevel for our chapter.8. LEGISLATIVE TRUSTEE: Milton Gonzalez reported on the importance of the upcomingFreedom Rights Rally. He has created very professional packets that we will be giving out tothe legislators as we visit them on April 16 th . He has contacted all the State Senators (in the 3county regions that cover our membership roster) in regards to appointments. He also discussedwhat and how to have discussions with our Legislators. He also mentioned that eachgroup should have someone with a camera. He also discussed how he had contacted CountyCommissioner Ken Hagen for the “May is Motorcycle Awareness Month” proclamation for HillsboroughCounty. He has made the contacts for getting an appointment set for a meeting inearly May with the Commissioner – he suggested that members be there for the meeting andphotos.9. PR/COMMUNICATIONS TRUSTEE: “Beamer” reported that we have another booth eventat the Music St. Music and Motorcycles event in Zephyrhills on April 10 th . She asked for volunteersfor the event. 3 members volunteered and made plans to meet on next Saturday. Shealso talked about the Freedom Rights Rally and the importance of our members going. Shealso discussed the upcoming NCOM Convention May 6 th – 9 th , in our own “backyard” in Orlando.Patti Nasrallah made a motion to have the chapter pay the cost of 3 rooms at the conventionhotel & the Registration Fee of $40 for chapter members who have not gone to anNCOM convention before. James Sewell seconded the motion - Chapter voted & the motion10. STATE BUSINESS: Richard spoke about the upcoming State Meeting in Tallahassee onSunday April 18 th . Milton Gonzalez and James Sewell will be the Chapter Delegates.11. SAFETY TRUSTEE: Position Vacant.12. NEWSLETTER EDITOR: Position Vacant. Richard thanked Patti for creating the lastnewsletter and James for getting it printed and mailed out.13. WEB MASTER: Lisa “Lexe” Usher was present - Nothing to report.14. OLD BUSINESS: Patti Nasrallah answered questions from a member on event insurance.

Milton Gonzalezseconded the motion – Chapter voted and the motion carried.16. GOOD OF THE ORDER: 50/50: James Sewell won the 50/50 - he donated a portion ofhis winnings to the Hearse Fund. Patti Nasrallah made a motion that the chapter portion of the50/50 donation monies be directed towards Hearse Repairs. Milton Gonzalez seconded themotion – Chapter voted and the motion carriedMilton Gonzalez passed out flyers for the Freedom Chapter’s upcoming Motorcycle AwarenessRide on May1st in Hernando County.Motion Made by Milton Gonzalez to adjourn the Meeting – Motion seconded by James Sewell -Chapter voted and motion passed.Meeting was adjourned at 2:15pm.NEXT MEETING: May 2 nd , 2010.ABATE OF FLORIDA, INC. - HILLSBOROUGH COUNTY CHAPTERMEETING MINUTES - DATE: 05/02/2010This meeting was called to order at 12:00pm. Board Members present were: Richard Nasrallah,James Sewell. Barbara “Beamer” Cronk, Milton Gonzalez, Wayne Coulter, James Cass,Patti Nasrallah and “Dar” Newland.1. INTRODUCTIONS & PRESIDENTS REPORT: Richard welcomed all guest and visitors.Richard led pledge of allegiance and a moment of silence.2. VICE PRESIDENT’S REPORT: James Sewell reminded everyone that pets are not allowedat any ABATE events – this includes our chapter meetings. Please leave your pets athome when attending our meetings. James Sewell also made a motion that we move ourChapter Meeting time from 12:00pm to 1:00pm; Board Meetings would begin at 11:00am. Nochange on Meeting Date – that will remain on the first Sunday of each month. Dar Newlandseconded the motion. Discussion followed that this change is needed (and has been requested)by our CMA members to allow them time to get to our chapter meetings after Sundaymorning church services. Chapter voted and the motion passed.
