Hillsborough County Chapter Page 198. LEGISLATIVE TRUSTEE: Milton Gonzalez reported. He needs an assistant and asked foranyone interested to please see him after the meeting. He also spoke about the vertical licenseplate issue – people are still getting sited (making them have to go to court to have the ticketinvalidated). He also mentioned that he has been busy adding Legislative information to ourchapter website and encouraged people to go there.9. PR/COMMUNICATIONS TRUSTEE: “Beamer” thanked James Sewell for printing thechapter tri-folds and discussed the importance of carrying a few with you on your bike and inyour car.10. STATE BUSINESS: Richard spoke about the upcoming June State Meeting in Pensacola.Our Delegates (for this meeting) will be Milton Gonzales and Steve Nasrallah. Patti Nasrallahwent over the State Board Nominations and which positions would require a vote from ourchapter at the June Meeting. Last month, the chapter voted on these positions. Our StateDelegates will take the information to the June State Meeting – those results will be made publicat that time.11. SAFETY TRUSTEE: Position Vacant.12. NEWSLETTER EDITOR: Position Vacant. Patti Nasrallah and James Sewell are coveringthis position until the newly elected editor takes over.13. WEB MASTER: Patti Nasrallah reported that most of the work getting the chapter site done(on the State Server) is now done. Milton has been posting Legislative info. there. Patti Nasrallahand James Cass also discussed the problems going on with using Gmail for getting informationout to the membership. They are looking at a couple of different sites to find a betterway to send the information out to our chapter members via email.14. OLD BUSINESS: No Voting Necessary for June Elections. Supervisor of Elections – RichHagen read out the names of the Hillsborough County Chapter’s 2010/2011 Chapter Board andTrustee Positions. Milton G. made a motion that we movethe July Chapter Meeting to July 11 th (2 nd Sunday in July). Steve N. seconded the motion.Chapter voted and the motion carried. **Please Note** A few days after the June ChapterMeeting, our President realized that the Abate Training Seminar was being held the 2 nd weekendof July. An Executive Board decision was then made to cancel the July Chapter Meeting.Announcement was sent out via email to chapter members.16. GOOD OF THE ORDER: Ray Redding (also a CMA Member) thanked the chapter againfor moving the chapter meeting time to 1pm, so more people can now attend church servicesand the chapter meeting on the first Sunday of the month. Motion Made by Patti Nasrallah toadjourn the Meeting – Motion seconded by Milton Gonzales - Chapter voted and motionpassed. Meeting was adjourned at 1:42pm.
