The Hearse checklist is now completed. She thanked James Sewell & Steve Nasrallahfor their help with making sure all supplies are available in the hearse.10. STATE BUSINESS: Richard spoke about the upcoming June State Meeting in Pensacola.Our Delegates (for this meeting) will be Milton Gonzales and Steve Nasrallah. Patti Nasrallahwent over the State Board Nominations and which positions will require a vote from our chapterat the June Meeting. Discussion proceeded on the candidates for State President, StateVP and State Sgt. @ Arms positions. <strong>Chapter</strong> voted – those results will be made public at theJune State Meeting. Richard Nasrallah spoke about the trip to and from Tallahassee. 6 memberson their motorcycles went. Weather was good and the ride was even better, except forthe last 10 minutes. Right before they reached “home”, the skies opened up and all gotsoaked. Milton Gonzales reported on the “highlights” <strong>of</strong> the April State Meeting (full minuteswill be available in the next Masterlink). <strong>ABATE</strong> Leadership Seminars will be held July 10 th -11 th . The Holiday Inn has changed hands – it is now a Clarion Inn (Deland). Steve Nasrallahreceived an award from the State Board for his many hours worked at Bike Week (Mr. Fix-it,Mr. Field Kitchen Shopper and Mr. Cook-it) back in March. Sandy McLaren will be receivingas award at NCOM for his many years <strong>of</strong> service and volunteer work for <strong>ABATE</strong> <strong>of</strong> <strong>Florida</strong>, <strong>Inc</strong>.11. SAFETY TRUSTEE: Position Vacant.12. NEWSLETTER EDITOR: Position Vacant. Patti Nasrallah discussed deadlines for thenext newsletter.13. WEB MASTER: Lisa “Lexe” Usher was present – Patti reported that she will check onwhat’s happening to get the “old” website “pointed” to the current website (now on the StateServer).14. OLD BUSINESS: Supervisor <strong>of</strong> Elections – Rich Hagen proceeded with the final series <strong>of</strong>nominations for our <strong>2010</strong>/2011 <strong>Chapter</strong> Board and Trustee Positions. PattiNasrallah made a final motion to accept all nominations and have our Bi-annual Election at theJune <strong>Chapter</strong> Meeting – Milton Gonzales seconded. <strong>Chapter</strong> voted and the motion carried.Patti Nasrallah reminded everyone that the NCOM meeting is next weekend. A motion wasmade at the April <strong>Chapter</strong> Meeting for the chapter to pay for 3 rooms for members wishing togo. She told the membership to see her after today’s meeting if you want to go. <strong>Chapter</strong> willpay the $40 registration fee as well - those wishing to go to the banquet will need to pay theadditional $35 (from their own pocket).
