Even minimaldamage to the end of a reel can severely harm its content: a gashtwo centimetres deep may affect nearly ten per cent of the paper.Walki manufactures a special inner disc for jumbo reels. Outerdiscs seal the packaging and protect reel ends against moisture andmechanical strain during transport and handling.
