Where the land use is changed, the adequacy ofthe maintenance and monitoring requirements should be reviewed,(2) The inspection frequencies are for general guidance only. Accountshould be taken of the age and condition of the wall and the particularmonitoring requirement. More frequent inspections should be carriedout when there have been adverse environmental changes or when signsof distress have been observed. Immediate actions and follow-upactions are required in emergency situations.
