Inthe market they face stiff competition that is able to workvigorously to win the market leadership and hence themajority of the gains from trade. The „creative shipping,‚the team with the four vessels need to achieve threecomplementary goals: (i) each ship captain must achieveher/his own target; (ii) the four captains, as a whole, mustbeat the competition in sales; and (iii) they must do it witha great reputation, which can only be earned by focusingon the clients’ needs. The rival is always ready to steal thecustomers and make deliveries, so the competition is notonly for the provision of the goods to the final customer,but also to acquire the right kind of customer at the righttime.
