Saint Patrick is the patron saintand national apostle of Ireland. St. Patrick is credited with bringing Christianity to Ireland; andWhizlizfi'8). the City of Jersey City and the Jersey City Saint Patrick's Day Parade Committee hosts aseries of events during the month of March which exemplifies the love of Ireland and the Irìsh culture and.heritage; andWhizlizfi8). the Annual Flag-Raising Ceremony will be held on Thursday, March 1, 2012. In observance,the tri-colored Irish flag, which symbolizes peace by joining the Emerald Green of the Republic with theOrange of Ulster by a field of white, shall be raised above City Hall for the month of March. The 50thAnnual Jersey City Saint Patrick's Day Parade is scheduled to be held on Sunday, March 11, 2012.Now.
