The cost coeficients of Taipower 40-unit are shown in Appendix-D. The system load demand is 8550 MW. Since one unit1s considered as a dependent unit, each individual in the population contains 39generating unlt outputs. The dimension of the population is 50 x 39. The simulationresults and a comparison of performance are given in Tables 2.20 and 2.21.
