Moreover, it also allows greater flexibility and torsionresistance when compared to the same tube made of sta<strong>in</strong>less steel (Lagoudas,Re<strong>di</strong>niotis and Khan, 1999). The SMA basket is used to remove kidney, bladder andbile duct stones.
