●Disabled Solaris Virtual tab by default. To enable for Solaris set: node.config.vp.config.enable.platforms=windows,solaris,sunos● Fixed missing Firmware Preload Table "Update" button in 5.0.1 b46.●●Updated the Windows SDMAPI to 1.28.0.71 QLSDM.DLLUpdated to Linux sdmapi release version: v4.00 build25.4. Known IssuesThe SANsurfer FC HBA Manager, version 5.0.1 build 46, has the following known issues:●●●●●●●●●●●Virtual port connected targets on Windows are not shown. This will be added in a later release. When running the older Linux 7 series driver (7.07.06) with the newer SANsurfer release, ensurethat SANsurfer is installed last to get the proper API.When running older drivers (those released prior to this version of SANsurfer) with the newerSANsurfer, the PCIe port information shows the value as UNKNOWN.QLA23xx adapters running the Windows 2003 STORport Miniport driver do not support the followingfeatures and functionality:❍ Failover❍ Load balancing❍ Current pathIf the qlsdm_dbsem_2 file is left behind in /var/tmp/.SEMD, QLogic SANsurfer will fail to open anyadapters during initialization.Workaround: Remove the file manually. The specific default file absolute path is:/var/tmp/.SEMD/qlsdm_dbsem_2NOTE: There is no standard for the /var/tmp folder, which the TMPDIR system environmentvariables can overwrite. Check your specific system for the exact value. When running the installer on Linux IA64, the following message may appear:Command.run(): process completed before monitors could start. This message is cosmetic and not meant for display. When running the SANsurfer FC HBA Manager GUI on Linux IA64, the following message mayappear:Oct 24 15:34:21 rh4u4ia64-210 kernel: java(zzzzz): floating-point assist fault at ipxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx, isr yyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyThis message is cosmetic and not meant for display. On Mac OS X, if you remove the QLogic adapter driver prior to removing SANsurfer FC HBAManager, the system places qlremote into /startupitems if no QLogic adapter drivers are installed;however, after installing the driver, it does not start.Workaround: Re-install SANsurfer FC HBA Manager. This tool version does not support updating adapter Flash on the RHEL 5 inbox driver version8.01.07-k1.To update a failover driver, make sure the /etc/modprobe.conf (.local) includes the parameterql2xfailover=1. Without the parameter, the driver will be updated as a non-failover.The agent (qlremote) update feature is supported on Windows, Linux, and Solaris.❍To update the agent on Solaris, select the new “qlremote” from the update Solaris directory, located directly under the SANsurfer installation directory structure (usually /opt/QLogic_Corporation/SANsurfer).❍ To update the agent on Windows and Linux, refer to the SANsurfer FC HBA Manager helptopic, “Updating the qlremote agent.”NOTE: Agent update is not supported when connected using localhost.5.
