The allocation of breeder seed of potatohas been made on the basis of estimated production reported by CPRI-Shimla. In orderto obtain the allotted breeder seed, the followinguidelines may please be followed.(i)(ii)(lii)(iv)(v)(vi)The lifting of allotted quantity be ensured between 1Sthe Februarv to 31'tMarch 2012 by the allottees from the variou stations of GpRl.lf any organization is not able to lift the allotted stocks due to budgetaryproblem, or any other reason, should intimate the lnstitute direcly about theirinability to lift the allotted quantity before 20th February,2012.All allottees states/agencies should deposit 50% cost of seed allotted to themwith concerned Incharge of CPRI station by 15th February, 2012 to reserveallotted quantity of breeder seed.No stock of any organization will be preserved in cold storage. However,organizations which want to get their stock preserved, should write well inadvance now itself but not later than 15.02.2012, so that arrangements forextra cold storage could be made, but, it will be at the cost and risk of thepartyThe sale price of breeder seed of potato has been fixed asRs.200O/Qtls.(Rupees two thousand only) inclusive of packing material,treatment and handling charges.The potato breeder seed lifted may please be multiplied invariably asfoundation stage-l and foundation stage-ll and certified stage-l and Stage-llmainly on Agricultural Universities and State Deptt .of Horticultuie IAgriculture (dealing vegetable crop) Farms/Farmers field.

(vii) State Government may make efforts to lift the entire allotted breeder seedand further distribute the seed among seed multiplication farms/agencies.
