<strong>Minutes</strong> <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> 145 th <strong>EXIM</strong> <strong>Committee</strong> <strong>meeting</strong> <strong>for</strong> Export and Import <strong>of</strong>Seeds and Planting Materials held on 21 st April, 2010 at 5.00 p.m.Under <strong>the</strong> Chairmanship <strong>of</strong> Shri Ashish Bahuguna, Additional Secretary,Department <strong>of</strong> Agriculture and Cooperation, Government <strong>of</strong> <strong>India</strong>.The 145 th <strong>EXIM</strong> <strong>Committee</strong> <strong>meeting</strong> <strong>for</strong> Export and Import <strong>of</strong> Seeds and PlantingMaterial was held on 21 st April, 2010 at 5.00 p.m. under <strong>the</strong> Chairmanship <strong>of</strong> Shri AshishBahuguna, Additional Secretary, Department <strong>of</strong> Agriculture and Cooperation, Government <strong>of</strong><strong>India</strong>. The list <strong>of</strong> participants is at Annexure.Item No.1: Action Taken Report on <strong>the</strong> decisions taken in <strong>the</strong> 144 <strong>meeting</strong> <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong><strong>EXIM</strong> <strong>Committee</strong> <strong>for</strong> export and import <strong>of</strong> seeds and plantingmaterial held on 9 th March, 2010.The <strong>Committee</strong> noted that recommendation letters in pursuance <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> decisionstaken in <strong>the</strong> 144 th <strong>EXIM</strong> <strong>Committee</strong> <strong>meeting</strong> had been issued to all concerned on 9 th March,2010 and <strong>the</strong> same have also been uploaded on <strong>the</strong> website <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> Government <strong>of</strong> <strong>India</strong> <strong>for</strong>in<strong>for</strong>mation and use <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> public. Letters were also issued to importers to ascertain <strong>the</strong>remarks <strong>of</strong> multi-locational trials conducted by <strong>the</strong>m and ICAR in respect <strong>of</strong> seedsrecommended <strong>for</strong> import by <strong>the</strong> <strong>EXIM</strong> <strong>Committee</strong> during <strong>the</strong> last two years.Item No.2: Proposal <strong>for</strong> export <strong>of</strong> 29 MT Onion seeds c.v.
