Data collectedfrom the opinion surveys indicates that students are satisfied with the availability ofresources within the school and community such as technology, advanced media, andother programs. However, students also indicated that they were neutral about seeingthe relationship between what they are studying and their everyday lives.The students surveyed at Patrick Henry High School indicated that they felt the teachersand administration were supportive and caring about their educational goals.12
They also agreed that Patrick Henry High School is consistent and fair in itsdiscipline policies and students indicated they felt safe in the school.School participation in activities has increased at Patrick Henry High Schoolwithin the past five years. Theyagree that students are provided with a supportive learning environment that promotesparent/teacher communication.Teachers also agree that Patrick Henry High School provides an environmentthat is consistent and fair in discipline procedures as well as safe and orderly forteaching and learning.13
