Letter to the EditorDismiss Raje Govt.The people of Rajasthan are fed up with the BJP government in thestate for its mal-administration. Few days back the farmers in Tonk,who were demanding water in a democratic way, were fired upon.Five farmers died and dozens were injured. Earlier, farmers werefired upon by the police when they too were demanding water toirrigate their field. This attitude of the BJP government in the stateshows that it is anti-farmers. This government had also increasedthe rates at which electricity is supplied to farmers. These farmershad brought victory for BJP during the last assembly elections byvoting for them and now the same BJP Govt. is giving them bulletsin return. Secondly, the law and order situation in the state hasdeteriorated and corruption is also flourishing.
